Researchers at The University of Queensland want to find ways to support parents to establish healthy habits with young kids.
This study aims to find ways to support parents to develop healthy habits with their children. By ‘healthy habits’, we mean behaviours and practices that will benefit your child’s health throughout their lifetime - for example, brushing teeth, eating nutritious food, and getting plenty of physical activity. While parents have often heard about published recommendations around healthy habits, putting those guidelines into practice and establishing healthy habits with your child from birth can be challenging. The aim of this study is to explore factors that can help or hinder parents in establishing healthy habits with their young children.
To participate you need to be a parent of a child aged 0-4 years and live in Australia. Participation in this study is voluntary and anonymous. You are free to withdraw from this study at any time without prejudice or penalty. If you wish to withdraw, simply stop completing the survey, however we will be unable to remove any information previously entered in the survey as your responses cannot be identified. There are no costs associated with participation in this study.
