Participation in this study involves completing an online questionnaire, which will take approximately 20 – 30 minutes. The survey will ask you some general questions about your family, some questions about how often your child engages in everyday health activities like brushing teeth and putting on sunscreen, and questions about your experiences, concerns and needs for information about developing these types of healthy habits with your child. The survey is completely anonymous and you are not required to provide your name, address or any identifying information.
Participation in this study should involve no physical or mental discomfort, and no risks beyond those of everyday living. If, however, you should find any question to be invasive or concerning, you are free to omit answering this question. You are also welcome to discuss any concerns you may have with project staff at any time.
There are no immediate benefits to participating in this study. However, the information provided by participants may inform the development of information or intervention materials to help improve assistance for parents in the future. You will also have the chance to enter a draw to win a $50 Coles Group/Myer gift voucher. Simply follow the directions at the end of the survey if you would like to participate.
You will not be asked to provide your name or any other identifying information. All data collected in this study will be stored confidentially and will be unidentifiable. The data you provide will only be used for the specific research purposes of this study.
