Families, and in particular mums and dads, are really important in supporting their teenager to be healthy, happy and to meet their potential. Research shows that teenagers with high quality, close relationships with their parents have fewer difficulties during adolescence and into adulthood.
This website links parents to research projects that aim to develop:
- new understanding of the challenges of parenting a teenager
- programs and resources to assist parents in this important role.
We value and encourage input from parents with teenagers aged between 10 and 18 years. If you’d like to take part in a study, please click on the button related to the project you are interested in to find out more information on how to enrol.
