Introduction
Behavioural and emotional well-being of children and adolescents can have far-reaching effects on their everyday life including being able to make friends and doing well in school or in the home. The objective of this research study is to better understand the development of behavioural and emotional difficulties.
This study is a part of a doctoral research project at the School of Psychology, Faculty of Health and Behavioural Sciences, The University of Queensland, Australia. The study procedures have been reviewed by experts and approved by the university ethics committee (also known as Institutional Review Board).
