We have a few criteria to ensure that we collect data from a wide range of people. To make sure that you are a good fit, we request that once you have read this information, you complete the screening questionnaire under the How to Participate tab on the left hand side, which will take 3 to 5 minutes. Your answers will help us to find out if you can take part.
If you meet our criteria, you will be immediately directed to the next step. At this stage, we will provide more specific information about the study. If you agree to participate after reading that information, you will be asked to electronically agree to an informed consent form. Once we have your consent, you will be directed to the study questionnaires about yourself and your child’s well-being.
If you do not meet the criteria to participate in this study, you will not be directed to the next step. The most common reason for not meeting our criteria is that we may already have enough volunteers who filled up the number of participants required at that time.
There is no direct benefit to you or your child as a result of participating in this study. However, your participation would assist to better understand the development of behavioural and emotional difficulties in children and adolescents, which may, in turn, help to improve their quality of life.
